Honeymoon Trip to Glacier National Park

We left the reception after only a couple of hours, knowing that we had a couple of hours of driving until we could relax.  We were anxious for some alone time, and to be done with decisions for a few days.  Chance planned the honeymoon all by himself, so this adorable little cabin on a private lake was an amazing surprise!

Our private dock and rowboat.

The next morning we woke up to bare cupboards, so we ventured into town for some food.  We found an adorable little cafe and decided to give them a try.  How amazing that on our first morning as Mr. and Mrs. Benedict they were serving "Benedict Breakfasts."
Some more views from our cabin.

 Our Rings!!!

Soaking up the sun... so relaxing!!!

Chance playing on the dock...

Sitting by the fire and looking out across our private lake...

And of course... smooching! :)

Leaving our cabin after three days of blissful seclusion.

We then ventured up to the Hungry Horse Dam for a little touristing.

Looking down the "long drop" side.

And looking down the "short drop" side.

And on to Glacier National Park for some hiking and sightseeing!

The "Red Bus" tours...

Avalanche Creek - so pretty blue!

All the way to Avalanche Lake (finally!).

Great spot for a picnic along the way!

We had such a wonderful honeymoon!  We only got a few short days of reprieve and it's back to the grind, but now we have a few months to plan for our trip to the Caribbean.  Marriage is wonderful!
