Fall 2013 - Thompson Falls, and Lexie is growing!

After a warm, busy summer the weather is cooling down and we're slowing down.  Which, actually to be honest, feels pretty nice.  We squeezed as much into the summer as we could.  In her first 10 weeks of life, Lexie spent 11 nights in a tent!
After 4 blissful weeks at home, I went back to work.  Part time for two weeks, and then full time.  Lexie comes with me every day, and I have an area set up for her in my office.  Everyone has been very considerate of my privacy, and I'm lucky to get to have her with me!  She is pretty popular - the new Prairie Kraft mascot! :)

My favorite thing - on the couch, in sweats, snuggling my little bundle.

Lexie is mimicking us pretty well - especially facial expressions.  Please excuse the outfit - her dad dressed her! :)

Remember those two fawns that were born around the same time as Lexie?  They are still hanging around, but much bigger now!
Hubs built a shooting bench and 100 yard target area... of course.
Pretty cheerful for going to work!

Marla Dykstra and the Coles boys stopped by my office one day for a surprise visit!
This outfit is from Auntie Sue...
"Cute like Auntie!"

We made another quick weekend trip to Thompson Falls, once again, to surprise mom on her birthday.  Only dad knew we were coming.  She was downstairs having ice cream with John when we barged through the door.  She was so happy to see her granddaughter!

Look who's back!  And with Lexie's new skirt on her head!  Brooklyn is getting sooo big!

Ready for the Seahawks game!  Thanks for the hat, auntie Kristi!

I love these sweet little hands!
