We're settling in to parenthood - loving our new roles, and our new family. Lexie has had a steady stream of visitors welcoming her to this world! Mom left after about 10 days - at first I was nervous to be home alone with Lexie, but I've learned so much from watching all the great moms around me. It's amazing how much you don't realize you've picked up on!

Sam, Julie and Brooklyn came for a visit - they were moving to Pendleton, via a Lexie visit and Manhattan convention. Yes, this was a "direct" route! :)

I started getting restless after a few weeks of being in the house so much, so we decided to go camping. We loaded up - baby gear and all - and headed for Logging Creek. It's only an hour or two from home, so worst case scenario we could come right home if needed. At three weeks old, Lexie spent her first two nights in a tent... and she absolutely LOVED it. She sleeps great with the cool air on her face, and we learned that the sound of rushing water lulls her to sleep in no time. It was a beautiful campsite right alongside Logging Creek - which I
think is a tributary to Belt Creek, draining from the Little Belt Mountains.

That picture of Chance and Joey is a classic. Love their poses! Makes me want to break out singing. That was so fun coming to visit. We need to come again soon. -Jewls
