Seeley Lake Camping with the Williams

At the end of August Joey and Leann invited us up to Seeley Lake to camp with them.  We jumped at the chance for a weekend at the lake, and we all headed up there after work on Friday.  We found a great campsite right near the water.

Nothing like a little R & R in the woods!

We headed down to the "day use" area of the campground first thing in the morning with our raft, sunscreen, and a football.  We had snacks in the cooler, and spent the entire day playing in the water.  We even brought snorkelling gear!  I have to admit there wasn't really anything exciting to see underwater, but Chance did spot the skeleton of what used to be a pretty big fish!

Our little "private" sandy beach... ahhh....

Joey and Leann - putting on another layer of sunscreen!

This was a great ice cream shop - yes, we did go there twice in two days!  Fresh huckleberry ice cream!

Chance loves rope swings... like, really LOVES rope swings!  Joey had heard rumors that this lake had a swing, so we drove about 20 miles up a dirt road to see, and sure enough - here it is!

His first jump - making sure he can see where he's landing!

Another weekend, another wonderful time outdoors.  Great friends, great fun, great trip!
